Costa Adeje Golf Course is considered to be one of the most impressive golf courses in the Canary Islands, with spectacular views of the ocean, mountains and the neighbouring island of La Gomera. The course was designed by Pepe Gancedo, who took advantage of the terrain and natural contours of the land resulting in large greens, lakes and gorges and defined by small plateaus and five thousand metres of stone walls which used to define the former banana plantations located on the grounds.

Golf Las Americas was designed by John Jacobs and opened in March 1998 and is superbly located in a gently sloping natural amphiltheatre with spectacular views of the ocean and La Gomera. One of the most noticeable features of the course are the streams flowing into waterfalls and between woodland and flora, there are various palm trees and other native trees. The club house stands out for its architectural elegance with comfortable balconies offering excellent views of the golf course. You can rent the equipment you need or bring your own. Packing is important of course, so this will be something for you to consider.
ABAMA GOLF

Abama golf course is situated on the South West Coast of Tenerife and offers an enjoyable challenge to enthusiasts. Designed by Dave Thomas, this competition golf course is adourned with 22 lakes, waterfalls, white sand bunkers, hundreds of palm trees, cacti, more then 300 species of sub-tropical plants and lush vegetation, the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop and reaches a low point of 78 metres above sea level and high point of 315 metres. Spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera from most of the holes.
The large greens provide an unlimited choice of flag positions, along with wide tee areas at each hole, which makes it accessible to players with high handicaps, and a challenge for any professional player.
AMARILLA GOLF

Amarilla Golf opened in 1989 and one year later hosted the second edition of the Tenerife Open, which is part of the European P.G.A. Tour.
Designed by Donald Steel, the course is situated on the southern coast and borders the sea enjoying spectacular views of Mount Teide. A wide variety of typical Canarian flora surrounds the course and the designer has taken advantage of the beautiful contrasts of the island to achieve a varied course between ravines and the coast. The 5th hole is the most impressive and is a gem for golf lovers, the sea becomes the fairway, making it necessary to cross it in order to reach the green.
Situated on the southern coast of Tenerife, and bordering the sea, the course enjoys incredible views of Mount Teide. During your round you are surrounded by a broad variety of typical Canarian flora. The designer of the course, Donald Steel, was able to take advantage of the beautiful contrasts of the Island to achieve a varied course between ravines and the Atlantic Coast.

Originally designed by Pepe Gancedo, the course was later turned into the only golf course on the Canary Islands with 3 courses by Manuel Piñero.
The 27 holes are perfectly divided on the three courses: the North course with 2949 metres and 9 holes split in 2 holes with par 3, 5 with par 4 and 2 with par 5. At the South course there are 2 holes with par 3, 5 with par 4 and 2 with par 5, covering 2957 metres. The 36 shots recently opened at the Links course are divided in 2 holes with par 3, 5 with par 4 and 2 holes par 5 with a playing area of 2853 metres.
The impressive ravines and the proximity of the sea, makes every visit an enjoyable one.
The fairways are wide, undulating and scattered with natural obstacles. There are various water hazards in contrast to the volcanic sand bunkers. Golf del Sur gives you the opportunity to experience the same feelings many of the greatest golf players experienced competing in this emblematic golf course.
The Golf del Sur academy, clearly aimed at promoting the sport, is a complete area for learning with a driving range, two putting and chipping greens and a practice range.
The facilities at the club are of a standard associated with the greatest European golf resorts. The Club House, can host events of any kind, with a wonderful catering service from its restaurant. The Pro Shop offers a wide range of first line products.
BUENA VISTA GOLF

Buena Vista Golf Course, situated on striking cliffs was designed by Seve Ballesteros and is located in the extreme northwest of Tenerife, close to the Teno mountain range and is well know for its mild all year round climate.
Due to its close proximity to the stunning coastline, on several of the greens it feels like you are hitting the ball into the ocean. In the first half, the most demanding holes are the par 4s and in the second half the par 3’s requiring greater precision, particularly the 15th and the 17th holes, which are both on the edge of a cliff. The large central lake situated in front of the Clubhouse, that boasts superb panoramic views of the entire course, is between the 9th and 18th holes and a waterfall lends a fresh feel to this unusual course.
REAL CLUB DE GOLF

Real Club de Golf, situated in the north of Tenerife at El Peñon, Tacoronte was founded in 1932 and is the second oldest in Spain, its well established trees throughout the course, emphasis the maturity of the course. Dry stream beds come into play on a number of holes while the 4th is one of the more difficult where precision play is all important, especially on the second shot to the green, as there is out-of-bounds both left and right.
