The property:
The bungalow has 2 levels and is beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen is very spacious and incorporates granite work surfaces, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker washing machine, iron and ironing board and for that added touch of luxury a dishwasher!
For those who plan on self catering, there are plenty of pots, pans, cooking and serving utensils. The main living area which is open plan to the kitchen, has a dining area with contemporary style extending dining table with seating for up to 8 persons, a leather suite, Hi-Fi with CD, MP3-CD, FM/AM radio and USB port.
A separate TV room has a flat screen TV, UK satellite (including sports and children’s channels), DVD player and Wi Fi Internet access is provided (subject to a fair use policy) for your own PC/laptop. There is also a selection of books and games including Scrabble, Monopoly and Draughts etc for your enjoyment.
The four bedrooms each have their own en-suite bathroom, TV and safe and either a double bed or 2 single beds. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and so is suitable for the elderly or infirm. Each en-suite has a shower, toilet and sink, and bedrooms 1 and 3 have full sized baths. There is also a ground floor cloakroom.
The garden area which is mainly tiled and flat has one step up and there are two steps down to the street, there are 8 sun loungers and a table with 8 chairs and sun canopy, perfect for dining alfresco and a heated swimming pool.
The roof terrace is accessible via a staircase and has table and chairs, and stunning mountain views.
The complex / local area:
Campo Internacional is situated between the beach lighthouse and Playa del Inglés. It is a mere 2 minutes walk to the golf course and only 5 minutes to the shopping centre, Faro II, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops including supermarkets.
Taxis are available from the road outside the golf club. Maspalomas has a fabulous beach and is world famous for its sand dunes. The classy resort of Meloneras is nearby with many up-market bars, restaurants and shops.
If you are looking for nightlife head for Playa del Inglés. Other places well worth visiting are Las Palmas, Puerto Rico, Mogan and shopping in Vecindario. Gran Canaria is very mountainous and a drive to the centre of the island is well worth the trip to see the fantastic views.
Notes:
The bungalow is about 25 minutes drive from the airport. A highchair and cot are available. Fans are provided and there is an iron and ironing board should you need them. Lightweight duvets, fitted sheets and towels are provided and changed weekly. Blankets are also provided.
Every effort had been made to ensure accommodation is safe and secure. Smoke detectors have been fitted, fire extinguishers provided and exit routes are clearly signed. There is also a first aid kit in the property. There are no gas appliances in the property. The outdoor areas have tiles which are designed to reduce the chance of slipping. Please note there are 2 flights of stairs which do not have gates or any other form of protection for young children. The swimming pool is approximately 1.4m (4.5 feet) deep and it is not fenced off. A life ring is provided. We happily accept parties including children, however it is the responsibility of the adults in the party to ensure the welfare of those children at all times.
Booking conditions:
A deposit of half the total cost secures any available period. Should you decide to cancel, the deposit is refundable only if we are subsequently able to rent the period you have reserved. Payment by direct bank transfer, personal cheque or by credit/debit card (PayPal 3% card fee non-refundable). The balance is payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. On arrival a fully refundable cash deposit of £200/€250 is payable to cover any damages - refunded in cash on departure. Changeover day is negotiable.
Prices quoted are per week for the property in UK Pounds. Minimum rental period is 1 week.
